• They also provide excellent leak-fee sealing on high pressure gas, vacuum, impulse, thermal shock, heavy vibration and many other stringent applications.
• All tube fittings are double ferrule and consist of a body, front ferrule, back ferrule and nut.
• Stainless steel barstock conforms to ASTM A276, ASTM 479, ASME SA479 and JIS GA 303

• The pressure rating of a BFO Tube Fitting is rated to the working pressure of the connective tubing.

Bulkhead retainer acts as a backup wrench on panel construction.
This allows one person to tighten the jam nut on port A side and following tubing connection on port A and B without a backup wrench.

Many tube fittings have a male or female pipe end. These ends sometimes have a lower pressure rating than the pressure rating of the tube fitting end. The ratings shown above are based on ASME B31.3-1999.
Female pipe ends have lower ratings than male pipe end in a given size due to the inner and outer diameters of the female threads being larger than those of the male pipe ends.
